     Finally my throat doesn't feel like something dead is lodged in there. *shudders* I got a cold on Wednesday and for some reason I just ~knew~ that it was strep. Because I just ~know~ I have strep every time I get a cold and never do, because I'm paranoid about getting strep due to that one time I had it for like a month. My mom resisted the med center trip until it was a Sunday and I realize that not only was this sore throat not budging, it was getting worse pretty rapidly. Sooo we went to the med center, at which point I hadn't slept more than three hours in a row in at least a week, and I was kind of super out of it and got really upset when she took my blood pressure and I couldn't remember the name of the vascular/circulatory/blood system or the average blood pressure for a human. I literally was just repeating I JUST TOOK THE TEST OF THIS FRIDAY IN HUMAN ANATOMY OH MY GOD I'M SO SORRY BUT WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE THING WITH THE HEART YOU KNOW THE HEART BEATINGS? AND BLOOD? And the nurse was just like honey do you mean the vascular system or you can even call it the blood system. I didn't realize how embarrassing this was until I ate some ice cream and my blood sugar perked up. Also the doctor was checking my nose and throat and then he asks oh so do you go to (beach place) and I got kind of upset and was like HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT FROM LOOKING UP MY NOSE and he was just like. Beat of awkward silence. It's on your shirt. But hey at least I got meds and am feeling better.
