Pretty much. I've heard that my science (Apologia) is like that too, as well as having a shitton of non-scientific "evidence" against the theory of evolution, but I mean, when you're memorizing muscle names, it mostly is just route memorization, so I don't mind that as much. But my freshman year of religion took a lot of time to spit out a bunch of phrases. My sophomore year I did apologetic, which encouraged critical thinking/debating/all that good stuff...but only to a certain extent. If you go to far they revert back to WELL BECAUSE GOD/THE BIBLE/THE CHURCH SAYS SO. This year looks much more similar to freshman year, so it's getting on my nerves.
I'm really hoping I can ride her soon. I don't think she will be because of reasons, she was just staying overnight for the show, I think. I think T would like to take her here, but there's another leaser who wants her to stay at the other barn. Quarter horses are such cuties, though I wouldn't ever really want to compete in anything western. We're sort of the opposite: there's a few western barns around here but not many shows at all.
