I think it's from a hay auction. I believe it was grown in Ohio but ended up being sold in Kentucky for some reason? There's a lot of hay from Michegan and the countryside in Ohio where I live, so I don't know why it's so difficult to find hay a little closer, but lately I guess it has. We haven't had any schoolies colic all summer except for one, and that was because he got too worked up in the paddock and then snuck some grass under the fence, the Thoroughbred. Which is weird, because a lot more coliced last summer and the hay was so much nicer.
