Now think:

Gave someone (my sister) a faith crisis and then someone else (me and my sister's good friend at the barn) asked me to be her confirmation sponsor. It's making my head spin right now and it's a big tangled knot of things I want to tease out, but right now I'm too tired.
Another thing about religion: fuck it, I am not spending this year studying for religion tests so I can do them closed book. I need to do better in math, I only got a B last year with my dad helping me a lot. I need a better grade in that, and I need to keep up with my A+ in science because I'm doing human physiology and anatomy this time and since I want to go into the medical field, I want to do well in that class and I don't want to be spending time I should be spending there studying something that I ultimately consider pointless. Maybe it would be good practice for studying and memorization? But then fuck, I'll memorize a poem or something if I feel like I need the practice.
Homestuck update: JAKE BABY. Jake reminds me of Blaine quite a bit, actually, partly because of the way he's presented in the same way girls (and also because of the way he talks, I must admit). But to be quite honest, because Jake is pretty much the things about Blaine that I'm not, it took me a lot longer to connect to him, whereas with Roxy and Jane and Dirk I liked them right away. Weirdly enough, it took me very long to fall for Jade, also.
Also I would never have guessed that the Serket to do something crazy and stir shit up would be Aranea. ARANEA WHAT ARE YOU DOING I DON'T LIKE YOU ANY MORE THAN VRISKA NOW. Nothing squicks me more than mind control WOW IT SQUICKS ME A LOT.
I'm going to meet the horse I'm going to be riding this Sunday. My barn has a really nice indoor and outdoor ring, so we hold the Northern Ohio Dressage Association's shows, and so she's going to be trailored down for that. I'm really excited to see her, and see how she does and how far along she's come in her training. I'm pretty sure I'm going to start riding her after this show, so now I'm all nervous. I'm worried that I won;t be able to keep her from going back to old habits--they're trying to retrain her from a saddleseat horse to a dressage horse, and she tends to put her head waaaay up.

Date: 2013-09-09 02:05 am (UTC)huh? And you have to take this class?
You'll do great with the horse. Just have faith, and listen to her and yourself.
Very cool that they have shows there. My closest schooling show is 2 hours, and regular show is 5 hours. Why yes, I do live in BFE, why do you ask? ;)

Wow, that's quite a haul! I'm lucky that there's so many barns and shows close to me. My cousin lives in Toledo, only about three hours from me, and there are practically no barns or shows at all.

Date: 2013-09-10 03:00 pm (UTC)That's great she's so nice. Is she going to live there at your stable?
Yeah, there are a lot of rodeos and quarter horse shows, ropings, that sort of thing, but not much on the non western side.

Date: 2013-09-10 04:03 pm (UTC)I'm really hoping I can ride her soon. I don't think she will be because of reasons, she was just staying overnight for the show, I think. I think T would like to take her here, but there's another leaser who wants her to stay at the other barn.
Quarter horses are such cuties, though I wouldn't ever really want to compete in anything western. We're sort of the opposite: there's a few western barns around here but not many shows at all.

Date: 2013-09-11 02:41 am (UTC)Not even going there. Good luck, though.
Western's not really my thing, either. Although I rounded up cattle with James once, and that was a lot of fun. Driving them to the pens, not so much fun-jut a lot of walking.
